In the morning we start directly from Nai Yang Beach. After about 2 hours drive with our speedboat we reach Koh Kho Khao.
Kho Khao Island is located on the Andaman Coast, just 20 minutes north of Khao Lak, the region’s tourist center. The island still has traces of an ancient civilization in the eastern central area. Archaeologists believe that the island and its harbor were part of a trade route between India, China, the Middle East and Malaysia.
Kho Khao covers an area of 64 square kilometers with a variety of vegetation including mangroves, hills, fields and lawns.
The beaches along the west coast are often used by sea turtles that go ashore to lay their eggs.
After a short stop on the beach of Koh Ko Khao we continue to the dive sites, which we choose locally.
In the afternoon we check in to a resort before we meet for dinner.
After breakfast we return to the dive sites before heading back to Nai Yang.
